Fight Focused Concepts (FFC) CCW Courses
This is a portion of the market that I have stayed away from for a couple of reasons. First one is that I am very busy teaching Suarez International courses all over the country. The second one is because I honestly have a problem with the idea of teaching people that are only there because the state says that they have to be there. When I am teaching for Suarez International, my student base are some of the hardest working and highly motivated students in the country. Frankly, the quality of people that I get to train with has left me spoiled. Now that I am branching out and doing more courses under my Fight Focused Concepts banner, I am seeing the same things inside of my local training seminars.
With that said, I have decided to begin promoting my CCW courses under a very different format.
I have made a reputation for myself as someone that can get a whole lot of information across, in a relatively short period of time. My reputaton is also that I can bring you to a very nice skill level in that same short period of time. I've decided that I will put my experience in this to use inside of a newly developed CCW curriculum.
FFC CCW course will be like very few CCW courses out there. It will far surpass the Nevade State requirements. This will be a fast paced, information loaded, primarily live fire, conceptually driven, and fight focused curriculum. We will cover every essential portion of the state requirements, plus a whole lot more. This will not be your typical CCW course by any stretch of the imagination.
It is perfectly clear that the best fight is the one that you avoid. We will cover solid concepts on how to avoid life threatening confrontations. But we will not stop there. We we also teach you skill sets to help you be the very best that you can be inside of the reality of a life threatening encounter. We will look at the realities of the proactive fight and the corresponding skill sets. We will also look at the "most likely" aspect of the reactive fight and those corresponding skill sets.
This will be a nine hour course (with a one hour lunch.) Five of those hours will be spent learning life saving skill sets. Three of those hours will be spent on lecture material, qualifications, and testing.
This is not a "put in eight hours and check the boxes" type of course. This course is not for those that feel that they know everything already. This course is for those that want to put in the work, right off the bat, so that they are as prepared as they can possibly be within the constraints of nine hours of work.
Straight out.......this CCW course is designed as "the CCW course that I would send my loved ones to."
It is not just about knowing the laws.
It is not just about knowing where you can and can not carry.
It is not just about whether you can aim your gun and pass a very easy qualification standard.
It is about carrying a gun with confidence in your knowledge, skills, and understanding of the dynamics of a fight.
This course will be structured in a manner so that even if you already have a CCW permit, you will get an awful lot out of this unique course.
