- Point Shoulder
- This is the Applegate method of "point shoulder." It is shot with threat focus and can be pushed out to some pretty decent distances with some practice
- Three Quarter Hip
This is the Fairbairn & Sykes method of point shooting called three quarter hip. It is s very natural position and works well out to seven yards.
- Half Hip
This is the Fairbairn and Sykes method of point shooting called "half hip." It is the fastest way that I have ever seen to get hits onto to threat. This is often called "elbow up/elbow down" as a description of the drawstroke. This one is about pure speed and is good to go out to five yards
- The Zipper
- Here is "the zipper." It is a technique that allows for a very quick first hit and follow up shots. This uses the Fairbairn/Sykes method of point shooting. The first shot is take out of "Elbow Up/ Elbow down" and zippers a five shot burst up into the brain housing group.
- Shooting with dynamic movement to the 5:00
This is my take on shooting on the move to the right rear oblique. This covers the very difficult 5:00 and 6:00 directions. The "InQuartata" like move on the initial step opens up the use of one handed shooting, which is very key to dynamic movement shooting.
- Threat Focus shooting
- This is a video taken by a husband and wife team that came out to Vegas to train with me, for their vacation. This is simply a clip that is part of that vacation video, He was a squared guy with some SWAT and Special forces training. She had virtually no experience at all. My course is a very advanced course that focuses on point shooting and dynamic movement. The one handed shooting is very key to dynamic movement. She was working these very advanced concepts at her comfort level and speed. These drills are designed to be done at a full run by very advanced guys and that is the way her husaband ran it.....on a full run.....just like my other "soon to be released" videos.
